Welcome to Wisecare!
Wisecare Christian Daycare & Learning Center offers childcare for infants through 5 years of age. At Wisecare, your child will have the opportunity to gain experience in social / emotional, language, cognitive, gross motor, fine motor and self-help skills through planned, developmentally-appropriate practice techniques and guided play.
Our infants and toddlers are cared for by gifted caregivers who use an interactive teaching approach that implements routines, activities and guided play to create a safe, loving and individualized learning environment. Wisecare's preschoolers are taught by qualified teachers using the Christian-based curriculum, A Beka. This curriculum focuses on phonics, pre-math, art and music. A Beka, in combination with thematic units, and learning centers that we've developed help create a learning environment that nurtures the "whole child", providing opportunities to discover, explore and create as well as develop their academic and social skills.
At Wisecare we believe in not only meeting the state childcare requirements, but exceeding them. Our highly trained staff of teachers continually update their training by completing courses that teach theories, philosophies, and innovative teaching techniques. Each class has at least one CPR and First Aid certified teacher. Our kitchen staff has completed the Mississippi Food Safety Course taught by the state's leading food safety instructor thereby certifying us to ensure safe handling and preparation of food.
We have recently partnered with ChildrenView.com to provide you with quality streaming video from our center. This great new technology allows our parents to view our center over a secure internet connection.
